Lianne Wesselo

Hi! My name is Lianne and I’m the owner here at The Wonderful World of Montessori.

I started my Montessori journey in 2015 in South Africa at the College of Modern Montessori, Johannesburg. I was a full-time student studying the NAMC Early Childhood (3-6) Years Montessori Diploma there. Upon graduation, I went to work at Plaintree Montessori, honing my skills and gaining real Montessori classroom experience as a Montessori Directress.

In 2019, I came to China, which is the world’s fastest-growing market for Montessori. In 2020, I opened my own boutique Montessori school called Lilliput Montessori in Xi’an, China, with my friend and business partner, Jolie Du. I have a burning passion for all things Montessori and education in the young child.
