Trinomial Cube (presentation two)

How the second presentation with the Trinomial Cube is presented

In this activity, the child is introduced to three control charts. The directress shows the child how to carry the Trinomial Cube carefully to the table, holding it correctly with two hands. She then shows him how to hold the control charts with two hands, bringing each one individually to the table and placing them next to the Trinomial Cube. She ensures so lay out each chart in the same way that the cube is in the box.

The directress begins by building the cubes onto the lid like before, matching them to their corresponding colour. Once it has been built correctly on the lid, the directress begins to replace the first layer of cubes onto the first control chart. She repeats in the same manner with the second and third layers of cubes.

Once the cubes have been built onto the control charts, she begins to build the cubes back into the box starting with the first layer, then the second, and finally the third layer. The directress then offers the child to have a try.
