The flower nature walk
The directress invites a group of children outside to go on a nature walk. The directress encourages the children to discover different types of flowers, smell their pollen, and pick some to arrange back in class. The children are free to lie under a tree, watch the flowers blossom, and to have a rest.
They take their findings back to the class and put them on the nature table. They then record their specimens. The directress shows the children how to press flowers.
Children can create a beautiful presentation for their Mothers on Mothers day.
