Dusting

Dusting is something all parents hate doing, but one of those jobs which has to get done. If we don’t dust at home, our studdy very quickly gets covered in it. Montessori dusting in practical life classes teaches children how to use a duster and how to dust objects in the classroom and home to help mum or dad.

Dusting teaches children to help

Children have a wonderful way of always wanting to assist either their parents, teachers, or peers, and as we’ve observed over the years. Children are always keen to help and dusting a very good life skill for children to develop a sense of responsibililty, not only for themselves but for the environment in which they are in.

Dusting indirectly teaches children patience and hand-eye coordination. Dusting tables, chairs, and classroom objects also strengthens muscles and teaches the children not to knock things over.
